Robert A. Trisch, age 72, passed away surrounded bythe love of his family, at his home, on Friday, January 6, 2012. Robert wasborn September 5, 1939 in Caro, the son of the late Alfred & Florence(Silvernail) Trisch, and was a lifelong Caro resident.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict.  Robert was united inmarriage with Teresa Nappo on April 20, 1964 in Formia, Italy.  He was employed with Saginaw Steering Gear inthe shipping and receiving department for thirty-one years, retiring in1994.  He was also employed part-time asa realtor for B. A. Calka and Osentoski Realtors.  Robert enjoyed working in his woodshop athome, fishing, hunting, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. 

Surviving Robert is his wife, Teresa Trisch of Caro and their children, Florence (Richard) McNinch of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dean(Stefanie) Trisch of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.  In addition to his parents,Robert was preceded in death by two brothers. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro with Rev. John Ladd officiating.  Burial willfollow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro with military honors provided by the Caro American Legion Post #7 and the United States Army. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorialcontributions to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund or VNA Hospice of Saginaw.  The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.RansfordCollon.com.
