Survived By: Surviving are two children; Steve Wurdock and Jennifer (Dr. Sandy Robert) Goldman, two grandchildren; Nathan and Lauren Goldman, two brothers; Robert (Judy) and Jon (Kathy) Wurdock, two sisters; Carol Tacey and Kay (Bill) Hollerback, his special close friends, Maxine Ruessegger, Mary Ann LaCourse, and his nephew Todd Tacey. Along with several nieces, nephews, great friends and neighbors.
Affiliations: He retired from General Motors Delphi after 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his cabin up-north, and spending time with his grandchildren. Edward was also an avid NASCAR fan, and a member of the UAW Local #699.

Our beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012, age 68.  Edward was born June 15, 1943 in Bay City to the late Edward F. and Dorothy P. (Wisniewski) Wurdock, Sr.  He retired from General Motors – Delphi after 30 years of dedicated service.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his cabin up-north, and spending time with his grandchildren.  Edward was also an avid NASCAR fan, and a member of the UAW Local #699.

     Surviving are two children; Steve Wurdock and Jennifer (Dr. Sandy) Goldman, two grandchildren; Nathan and Lauren Goldman, two brothers; Robert (Judy) and Jon (Kathy) Wurdock, two sisters; Carol Tacey and Kay (Bill) Hollerback, his special close friends, Maxine Ruessegger, Mary Ann LaCourse, and his nephew Todd Tacey.   Along with several nieces, nephews, great friends and neighbors.

     The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Squires Funeral Home.  Linda Studniarz will officiate.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00pm and Saturday after 10:00am.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
