Harrison, Max C.
Houghton Lake, Michigan formerly of Saginaw
Mr. Harrison, age 86, died Saturday February 25, 2012 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital, Saginaw.
Max was born in Detroit, on October 12, 1925 to the late Chesley L. and Vida (Floto) Harrison. He married the former Donna Deeren and she preceded him in death. Max and Donna moved to Saginaw in 1954. Max was employed as a truck driver for Bowman Dairies and McDonald Dairies for many years before working for St. Louis Freightline, among others, as an over the road driver/broker. He retired in 1984 because of health issues. Max enjoyed camping and fishing in the beautiful State of Michigan and Alaska. Mr. Harrison is survived by his 2 sons, Richard (Ginny) of Saginaw, and Russell of Wasilla, Alaska. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jennifer (Pat) Wilson of Freeland and Jason (Crystal ) Urbaniak of Titusville, Florida, many great grandchildren, 2 brothers , Lee (Diane) of Reese, Dale (Pat) of Alpena, Valera of Standish and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Carl and Mary and brother Wayne A Life celebration service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Inc., 700 N. Monroe Street, Bay City, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
