Viola Lillian Dembowske

Mrs, Dembowske age, 93 passed away Thursday March 29, 2012 at Brian’s House.  She was born on August 29, 1918 inSebewaing,MIto the late Herman & Lillian (Griegor) Gettel.  She married Alfred on July 8, 1940 in Sebewaing at theImmanuelLutheranChurch.  He predeceased her on August 21, 1979.  She was a member of theImmanuelLutheranChurch.  Viola enjoyed bowling, golfing, and cooking she will always be remembered for gifting all of her baking goods.  She is survived by her children Donna (LeRoy) Swenson, Darwin Dembowske, and Cindy Turner, grandchildren; LeeAnn (Dave) Juul, Todd (Carrie) Dembowske, Teri (Kip) Parsell, Gina Gettel, Dane (Dawn) Swenson, Scott Dembowske, Carisue Gettel, and Jason Turner, 6 great grandchildren; Corey and Tyler Parsell, Shawn and Jake Dembowske, Danielle and Delaney Swenson.  She was predeceased by two sons David and Richard, a grand daughter Lori Swenson, a son in law Dale Turner, a brother Harlon, and two sisters Orpha and Kathlyn.  Funeral Services will be held Monday April 2, 2012 at 1 pm from theImmanuelLutheranChurchin Sebewaing with Rev. Michael Boyer presiding with burial inSt. JohnsCemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10 am until time of services.  Arrangements are entrusted to Rivertown Funeral Chapel.
