Leona passed away Saturday morning, April 14, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region, at the age of 82.  Daughter of the late Marion and Mary (Potla) Klosowski she was born February 14, 1930 in Bay City.  Leona worked for her brother Marion at Country Market.  She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Rosary/Altar Society Group #12, Senior Citizens and the Felician Sister’s Auxilary.  Leona was an avid doll collector and loved playing bingo.

Surviving is one brother and a sister; Marion (Carol) Klosowski and Theresa Zuchnik.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews; Diane (Michael) Panknin, Richard (Renee) Zuchnik, Julie (Chris) Decker, Debra Gustin, Mark Klosowski and several great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother & sister-in-law, Frank & Joan Klosowski and a brother-in-law, Chester Zuchnik.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. from St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Rev. Fr. Richard Filary will officiate with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8:00 P.M. and at the Church on Thursday after 9:00 A.M.  St. Stanislaus Rosary/Altar Society, Senior Citizens and the Felician Sister’s Auxilary will pray the rosary at 2:00 P.M.
