Mrs. Norma R. (Harneck) Gager a long time resident of the Vassar and Millington area passed away early Saturday April 14, 2012 at her residence with family at her side Norma was 80.

Norma was the daughter of the late Norman & Ruth (Parker) Harneck and was born on August 17, 1931 in Marlette Michigan.  In 1954 Norma married  Arlo Gager, and together she and Arlo have celebrated 58 years of marriage.  Norma loved her family and spending time with all of them, they were the joy of her life.

Norma leaves her husband Arlo, four sons and two daughters in-law; Dan Gager, Tim and Debbie Gager, Jeff Gager, and Mark & Glenda Gager, three grandchildren Michael, Amanda, and Zachery, four great-grandchildren; Nathan, Joe, Hope, and Kayla, two sisters Jean and Carol, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Norma is preceded in by two sons Stephen and Michael, two brothers Lyle Harneck, and David Likhard, and her parents.

The Gager family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Wednesday April 18, 2012 from 11:00 Am until the services begin. Funeral services will be at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.
