Duke and Michigan State were his favorite basketball teams. He was a member of Kochville United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on their apple pie sales and chicken dinners.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Josephine Seemann; two daughters and one son, Cathy Jean Seemann, Bridgeport; Kris (Tom) TenBroeke, Grand Haven; Dan (Deanna) Seemann, Freeland; six grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin and Jaden TenBroeke, Emma, Jack and Addie Seemann; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barb and Ken Kendall, Frankie Kabat, Jennean and Daniel Snyder, Mike and Denise Earl; many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
