Theresa Stella Hess, 96, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was born in Bellevue Twp. Michigan on March 28, 1916 to Frank & Viaron (Bailey) Auer. She married William Richard "Morgan" Hess on March 28, 1938. He predeceased her in 1953. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County, was employed at Gladwin Hospital as a nurses aide, retiring in 1985 after 25 years of service and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters: Pat (Jim) Bushong of Gladwin; Polly (Bob) McKenna also of Gladwin; daughter in-law:  Tress Hess of Louisiana; 4 grandchildren: Mick Bushong; Michael (Katie) Keen; Kim (Bruce) Smith; Pat (Angie) McKenna; 7 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren & step great grandchildren; 1 brother: Jim Auer of Gladwin; 1 sister: Vera Darley of Clio. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter: Dorothy Keen; 2 step children: Rose Mary Wegar & Wallace Hess; 3 sisters & 2 brothers. Visitation will be held at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel, on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 12-9:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted by Father John Cotter at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin.
