On Wednesday, April 24, 2012 the angels called Ja’Money D. Austin home to be with the Lord at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Grand Rapids Michigan. Age 16 years. He was born October 6, 1995 in Saginaw, Michigan to Angela Heart Tyus and Rodney Austin.

He attended schools in Saginaw, Carrollton and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ja’Money excelled as an athlete, especially basketball. He loved music, computers and phones.

Ja’Moneys’ memory will be cherished by his devoted mother Angela Heart Tyus; stepfather, Maury Tyus; six brothers, Benjamin Donaldson, Navillus Heart, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rodney Austin Jr, Latavius Scott, Dequavius White, Jeremiah McMillian, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, Martell Tyus, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ykia Williams, Saginaw, Michigan; a devoted grandfather, Robert Dawkins; grandmother, Brenda Heart; many other special relatives and friends.

Ja’Money was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Austin; great-grandparents, Robert and Leola Dawkins, Jiles and Lucy Williams; grandmother, Ruby Austin; grandfather, James Brown; uncle, Jiles Williams.
