Survived By: He was a loving husband to Kathleen Marie (Francetic) Davis, whom he married June 14, 1986. He was the best daddy any one could ask for to his twin daughters, Sara Davis, Saginaw, and Laura and her husband Spc. Daniel Miller, serving with the US Army in Germany. He is also survived by his parents, Gloria and Robert, of Harrison; one sister, Toni (Norman) Harrison, Saginaw; his parents-in-law, Rudy and Florence Francetic, Merrill; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Douglas (Brenda) Francetic, and Marcia Stanley, all of Merrill; Jerri Francetic, Lansing; nieces and nephews, Slava and Vala Harrison, Anthony (Kira) Francetic, and Christopher (Kristina) Francetic; one grandnephew, Easton Francetic.
Affiliations: He had been employed as a combustion engineer for Banner – Day Engineering for the past 34 years. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of VFW Post #1566 and American Legion Post #439. His one great love was being the technical director for Heritage High School theater program.

          Passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 3, 2012, from complications following surgery. Age 60 years.

          Mike was born October 28, 1951, to Gloria and Robert Davis. He was a loving husband to Kathleen Marie (Francetic) Davis, whom he married June 14, 1986. He was the best daddy any one could ask for to his twin daughters, Sara Davis, Saginaw, and Laura and her husband Spc. Daniel Miller, serving with the US Army in Germany. He is also survived by his parents, Gloria and Robert, of Harrison; one sister, Toni (Norman) Harrison, Saginaw; his parents-in-law, Rudy and Florence Francetic, Merrill; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Douglas (Brenda) Francetic, and Marcia Stanley, all of Merrill; Jerri Francetic, Lansing; nieces and nephews, Slava and Vala Harrison, Anthony (Kira) Francetic, and Christopher (Kristina) Francetic; one grandnephew, Easton Francetic.

          Mike graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1971. He served with the US Navy and was a Navy Seal in Vietnam. He had been employed as a combustion engineer for Banner – Day Engineering for the past 34 years. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of VFW Post #1566 and American Legion Post #439. He was an awesome man involved in many things, but his one great love was being the technical director for Heritage High School theater program. He was well and truly loved and will be greatly missed.

          Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Road. Rev. James Neumann will officiate with military committal services in
Oakwood Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday, and then at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
