Survived By: Left to cherish his memories are his two children Lindi (Weiss) & Jason LaRue and Troy & Dana Weiss; four grandchildren Austin & Kassidy LaRue, Areyel & TJ Weiss; his father George H. Weiss, a brother Dwight & Dorothy Weiss and a sister Sybil Weiss; 2 nephews Ian & Josh Vessey also, his extended Rezler family and his two life long friends Lori Snyder and Tom Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Mae Weiss and two sisters Sheila (Weiss) Vessey and Sarah Weiss.
Affiliations: He was born in Bay City on September 19, 1958 to George H. & Donna Mae (Donner) Weiss. George was a graduate of Western High School Class of 1976 and was retired from GM / Delphi after 30 years in skilled trades. He enjoyed his passion for cars by restoring his 1958 Chevrolet, watching NASCAR but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and easy going nature.

Mr. Weiss 53 loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away Friday May 11, 2012 at McLaren- Bay Region with his family at his side following a courageous battle with Scleroderma. He was born in Bay City on September 19,1958 to George H. & Donna Mae (Donner) Weiss. George was a graduate of Western High School Class of 1976 and was retired from GM /Delphiafter 30 years in skilled trades. He enjoyed his passion for cars by restoring his 1958 Chevrolet, watching NASCAR but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and easy going nature.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of ICU and the doctors at McLaren-Bay Region for the care and support given to George and his family.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 14, 2012 at 8 pm from the Rivertown Funeral Chapel  with inurnment at Sunset Valley Crematory. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Monday from 2 to 8 pm. Those wishing and expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Scleroderma Foundation or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
