Michael John Redman, 69, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Detroit, Michigan. He was born in Gladwin on January 15, 1943 to Harry & Gladys (Totten) Redman. He married Bonnie Shafer in Gladwin on August 10, 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army, enlisted during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a Supervisor at Gladwin Manufacturing and also worked at Ace Hardware. Michael was very active in the Gladwin Little League, coaching for several years and touched many lives. He loved spending most of his time with his family and was very supportive of his children and his grandchildren's sporting events. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He is survived by his wife: Bonnie Redman of Gladwin; son: Scott (Amiee) Redman of Gladwin; daughters: Julie (Brian) Keeley of Beaverton; Janel Redman of Beaverton; Jamie (Justin) Reid of Gladwin; grandchildren: Andrew, Kylie, Trisha, Brayde, MaKenzie, Kaden & Karsen; sisters: Barbara Weaver of Gladwin & Shirley VanSyckle of Greenville and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Bob, Bill & Larry; 1 sister: Betty Baker. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 12-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
