            Ilean went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 26, 2012, age 96 years.

            Ilean Gamble was born in Saginaw, Michigan November 1, 1915 the daughter of the late John and Esther (Keelan) Gamble.  She married Frank Brooks, August 1, 1961.  He predeceased her in 1969.  She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1934 and Moody Bible Institute in 1945.  She attended Bliss Alger Business College.  Ilean helped support Child Evangelism Fellowship, the City Rescue Mission and Family Life Radio.  She worked many places in Saginaw, starting with Lufkin Rule and last worked at Saginaw Transfer Trucking.  She was a member of Hopevale Church.

          Surviving are her adopted family, Annie Pappas, Ruth Easlick, Don, Amy  and Jillian Pappas of Westfield, Indiana; Robert and Debbie Easlick and their children, Michele Easlick-Irvine, Mallorie and Jason Easlick; Jan and Fred Bingham, Maricopa, AZ. A nephew, Michael Gamble and a niece, Lucinda Bellinger. She was predeceased by her lifelong friends, Ruth Turner, a brother and his wife, Laurence and Judith Gamble and a sister, Elsie Johnson.

        The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.  Pastor Dan Davis will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
