Loving husband and father passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the age of 55 years.  Jeffrey was born March 30, 1957 in Saginaw, MI, son of Arnold and Barbara Reinert.  He was married to Susan Broughm on May 2, 2011; she survives him.  Jeffrey was employed by General Motors in Lansing, MI, retiring in 2007.  He enjoyed playing sports and watching sports on TV.

Surviving besides his wife Susan are; 2 sons, Justin and Eric Reinert, 3 step children and 7 step grandchildren; his mother Barbara Reinert; 3 brothers, Richard (Verona) Reinert of Frankenmuth, David Reinert of Saginaw, Gregory (Amy) Reinert of AK; one sister, Deborah Reinbold of Munger, MI, and many nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father Arnold Reinert.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St.  Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.  Jeffrey’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  In Lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Lou Gehrig Foundation ALS, Great Lakes Hospice of Lansing, MI or charity of your choice.  Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.cederbergfh.com.
