Passed away unexpectedly early morning Wednesday June 13, 2012 at covenant HealthCare Cooper in Saginaw at the age of 55 years. Andrew was born June 21, 1956 to Andrew D. and Mary Eleanor (Dempsey) Robertson in Saginaw and has lived in this area all of his life. Andrew was employed at Merrill Tool for 28 years as facilities Maintenance Mechanic. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting with his son Tyler. He also enjoyed cooking. Andrew is survived by his sons; Andrew (Kelly) Robertson of Georgia and Tyler D. Robertson of Freeland, two grandchildren; Kayden Riley and Adrianna Tori, his parents; Andrew D. and Mary Eleanor Robertson of Saginaw, his ex-wife and good friend; Crystal R. Robertson of Freeland, two brothers; Thomas Robertson of Bay City, Douglas (Barb) Robertson of Frankenmuth, a sister; Kathy Perry of Zilwaukee and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 19, 2012 at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, Freeland. Rev. James Rule will officiate with burial to follow in Owen Cemetery in Saginaw.  Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 310 E. Washington St., Freeland on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the donor’s favorite charity.
