Lizzie Louise Wilson went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2012.  She was born to Oliver and Lillie Coleman on November 22, 1935 in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

She was a dedicated and long-time member of the Historic Second Baptist Church of Bay City MI.  She served on the Deaconess board, Mass and Celestial Choirs, Mission and Culinary auxiliaries.  She retired from the dietary department at Bay Medical Center in 2001.  She enjoyed cooking, bowling, sewing and spending time with her family.  She married Robert Lee Wilson on November 22, 1956.  

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Robert; three daughters, Dalemarie Davis, Eunice and Davannah Wilson, all of Bay City, MI; one son, Robert Jerome (Thomasenia) Guy of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Justin (Eva) Davis of Thornton, CO, Jennifer Davis of Bay City, MI, Lena and Robert C. Guy of Memphis, TN, and Angelene Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Alaysia Davis of Bay City, MI and Deonte' Guy of Memphis, TN; three sisters and one brother,  Princess Irene Holmes of Detroit, MI, Hattie Lucille (William) Qualls, Estella Byrd and Isaiah Coleman, all of Saginaw, MI; three godchildren, Kenneth Williams, Marcus Davis and Javon Clifford; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.  

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert A. (Tony) Wilson; one son-in-law, William E. Davis; her parents; four brothers and four sisters.  

Special thanks to all her physicians and the staffs of Fresenius Medical Services, McLaren Bay Region and Brian's House for their compassion and care during her illness.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Second Baptist Church, 1770 Youngs Ditch Road in Bay City, MI. Rev. Seth Doyle will officiate with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at Second Baptist Church on Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., where the family will be present at 7:00 p.m. for a family hour.
