Dorothy LaCasse

Mrs. LaCasse age, 86, passed away Saturday June 23, 2012 at Bay Special Care following a lingering illness.  She was born on November 27, 1925 inLinwood,Michiganto the late John & Helen (Schlink) Lambert.  She retired from Pinconning Area Schools after 25 years of service.  She enjoyed reading, and being involved with all the children at school, but most of all spending time with her family.  She is survived by her daughter Sally Herber, granddaughters Melissa (J.R.) Bornemann, and Heather Herber, a great granddaughter Addison Paige Bornemann, several nieces and nephews, two sisters in laws, Marge Lambert, and Arlene Stalker.  She was predeceased by her husband Donald (Casey) LaCasse, a sister Louella Hoyle, brothers; Elmer Lambert, Vigil Lambert, and Charles (Chuck) Lambert.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 11 am from the Rivertown Funeral Chapel with burial inFloralGardensCemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm.  On Wednesday from 10 am until time of service.  The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Bay Special Care and their staff for the compassionate care Dorothy and her family received.
