Evelyn A. Lewicki, age 90 years, died July 9, 2012 at Bay Medical Care Facility.  She was born in Tawas City, MI on November 6, 1921 to the late Francis and Helen (Klish) Smith.  She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Evelyn was a Registered Nurse and was retired from Bay Medical Center.

She is survived by a daughter Mary Jo Peckham, 3 grandchildren: Danielle Middleton, Matthew (Kari) Peckham and Rachael Peckham, 5 great grandchildren: Karson, Cole, Andralyn, Logan and Kassadi and a sister-in-laws Lil Piechowiak.  She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Lewicki Jr. and 2 brothers Harv and Walt Smith.

The Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery with Military Rites by the Bay County Veterans Council. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. She will lie in state at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until service.
