Dennis D. Albertson, Sr.

Mr. Albertson 65 passed away Saturday July 14, 2012 following a sudden illness. He was born inSaginawon October 7, 1946 to the late Harold & Nellie ( Goodside) Albertson. He married the former Sherry Ballard on October 10, 1964 inBay City, she survives him.  Denny was retired from Valley Welding in 1994 and was currently working at Country Drugs. Sherry & Dennis opened their home as foster parents for 19 years sharing their love and home with many children. He enjoyed life and loved the country’s flag, eagles, spending time with his kids and family.

Surviving besides his wife of 47 years are their children Judy & Louie Hayes, Dennis Albertson Jr. & fiancee Stephaine, Brian & Angie Albertson, Mike Albertson special friend Joanne , Randy & Jodie Albertson and Shelly & Craig Hebert; grand children David, Dennis, Kayla, Ryan, Nicole, Malarie, Austin, Mikey, Amber, Carter, Alexis, Isaiah, Cayden and Amanda; great grandchildren Hunter, Montana, Emma, Landyn and Julianna; 2 brothers Ronald & Helen Albertson and Edward & Janet Albertson; also, several special brother & sister in laws. He was preceded in death by 2 grand daughters Hayleigh Hebert and Hope Albertson.

 Funeral services will be held Thursday July 19, 2012 at 11 am from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm and Thursday 9 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family’s wishes or a charity of choice.
