Mary 81 passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 peacefully at Tony & TrishHomein Auburnfollowing a lingering illness. She was born April 26, 1931 in San Antonio, Texasto the late Rudolph (Rudy) & Frances (Hernandez) Castillo. She a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and loved to be with her family and friends. She was the owner and operator of Mary’s Restaurant on Midland St.for many years and worked in many restaurants in the Bay Cityarea.

She is survived by her son Robert & Renee' Andrews; her loving companion Oza Brown grand children Jason Andrews, Alisha Andrews LaRonda Throne and Garbrail Throne; Great grand children Jacob Andrews, McKenna Pope, Garrette Whited, Jarad Whited and Kalie Whited. She was preceded by her husband Edison Andrews, 2 daughters Kathreen Simpson & Marilyn Andrews, an infant son, a sister Krysiniak, Mainie White and a brother Frank Castillo.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 27, 2012 at 10am from St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church with Fr. Rev. George Serour and Sister Virginia Scally SNDdeN will officiate over the funeral rites. Friends may call at the church from 9 am until time of Mass. Arrangements are entrusted to Rivertown Funeral Chapel.
