Gavin, Robert Farnham, Kathy (Scott) Brow and Nichole Dickerson; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Kowitz; many nieces and nephews and special family members, Tara Buckley and Hoa Dickerson.
Affiliations: Madeline retired from General Motors after 20 years of service and was a member of Juniata Baptist Church.

Madeline Dickerson, age 94 years, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Satchell’s Christian Care Home in Caro.  She was born on August 23, 1917 in Tuscola County, the daughter of the late Lyle and Flossie (Huntley) White.  Madeline retired from General Motors after 20 years of service and was a member of Juniata Baptist Church.

 

Surviving family include her children; Beverly Hutchinson, Lyle (Sharon) Palaghe, Norma (Robert) Farnham and Raymond (Linda) Dickerson; her grandchildren, Dennis (Holly) Hutchinson, Denise Crawford, Jeff (Christine) Palaghe, Steve Palaghe, Kristie (Robert) Hohn, Kim (J.P.) Gavin, Robert Farnham, Kathy (Scott) Brow and Nichole Dickerson; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Kowitz; many nieces and nephews and special family members, Tara Buckley and Hoa Dickerson.  Madeline was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lloyd Dickerson and Nick Palaghe, a son, David Dickerson and a son-in-law, Donald Hutchinson.

 

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Juniata Baptist Church, 5656 Washburn Road.  Pastor Lyle Ohman and Evangelist Rick Flanders officiating, with burial following at Rich Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St. in Vassar.  Madeline will lie in-state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Juniata Christian School.
