ESTHER E. SLOSSER of Hale, passed away July 29, 2012 at Iosco Medical Care Facility in Tawas City at 83 years of age.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl.  Two daughters, Sue (Rick) Goodrow of Shelby and Judi (Kelvin) Ranney of West Branch.  Grandchildren, Chris (Amy) Goodrow, Noel (Laura) Goodrow, Beth (Robert) Keeler, Holly Ranney and Laurie Ranney.  Also survived by nine great-grandchildren and siblings; Arlene Gullett, Mary Gregg, Ward VanHouten and Margie (Art) Bowman.  Preceded in death by her son, Joseph Scott Slosser.

Esther enjoyed music, reading, painting, BINGO and her dogs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington.  The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Interment at Esmond-Evergreen Cemetery, Laura Goodrow officiating.  Memorial contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society or Iosco County Medical Care Facility.  Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
