Walla Beth Tedford, age 78 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her residence.  She was born on May 12, 1934 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Davies) Enos.  On December 19, 1951 Walla married Harley Tedford in Vassar, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2008.

Surviving family include her daughters, Laurene (Gary) Sabo and Jean Tedford; a daughter-in-law, Donna Tedford; her grandchildren, Daniel (Kim) Nichol, Jennifer (David) Heinlein, Troy (Lisa) Tedford, Chad (Tricia) Tedford and Tiffany James; great-grandchildren, David, Megan, Hunter, Cash, Landon, Olivia and Andrew.  Walla was preceded in death by her husband, Harley and a son, Michael.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St. in Vassar.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
