Howard  Hodges

    Our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012.  Age 90 years.

    The son of the late Ida (Kowitz) and Charles Hodges was born December 2, 1921 in Tuscola, County, Michigan.  He married Alice M. Anderson, June 23, 1962. She passed away February 18, 2012.  Howard served with the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was well known as owner and operator of Hodges General Store. He also worked in construction. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and all children.

     He will be missed by his children, Diana (Dean) Sensabaugh, Rick Hodges, Susan (Dan) Shook, Jerry (Elizabeth) Fisher, Lynne Hodges; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, L.D. Hodges; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son Randy Hodges and several brothers and sisters.
