Ruppel, Mildred Rose

Saginaw, Michigan

            Passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Saginaw Senior Care, age 96 years.

            Mildred was born in Saginaw, Michigan February 23, 1916 the daughter of the late Andrew and Johanna (Alex) Falkenhagen.  She married Henry Ruppel October 13, 1934.  He predeceased her  November 19, 2008.    

            Mildred is survived by her children, Henry (Ann) Ruppel, Sue Morley, Saginaw, Maryann (Ron) Ebenhoeh, Frankenmuth and Gregory (Christy) Ruppel, Gladwin; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, Mildred was predeceased by  two grandsons; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Elfreida and Grace. 

            According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway.  Rev. Mark P. Buckert will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Hoyt Park Fund.
