Survived By: Surviving besides his wife, Joanne, are: 3 sons and 2 daughters, James (Mary) Reinbold of Frankentrost; Gerald (Kathy) Reinbold of Frankentrost; Beverly Bauer of Rochester Hills; David (Pam) Reinbold of Meldrim, GA; and Marcia (Jeff) Herzog of Frankenmuth; 4 sisters-in-law, Vita Reinbold, Irene Reinbold, Selma Reinbold and Hildegard Rupp; 2 brothers-in-law, Wilbur (Esther) Rupp and Edger (June) Rupp; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Affiliations: Otto worked on his family farm his whole life. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost, its men's club, and former member of the Frankentrost Band. Otto loved his family and enjoyed playing cards.

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 20, 2012 at Tendercare of Frankenmuth after a lengthy illness, age 85 years.  Otto was born on April 4, 1927 in Frankentrost, MI to the late Arthur and Ella (Muehlfeld) Reinbold, Sr.  He was married to Joanne Rupp on May 12, 1951; she survives him.  Otto worked on his family farm his whole life.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost, its men’s club, and former member of the Frankentrost Band.  Otto loved his family and enjoyed playing cards.

Otto was preceded in death by:  3 brothers, Arnold A. Reinbold, Arthur Reinbold, Jr., and Harold Reinbold; sister, Viola (Elmer) Ruff; 3 sisters-in-law, Marian (Alfred) Dinse, Doris (Roland) O’Connor, Celia (Walt) Ruthig; brother-in-law, Harvey Rupp.

 

Funeral services will take place on Friday  August 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Frankentrost.  Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.  Otto’s family will receive visitors at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N.
