LUPINA, Margaret (Kopcinski) - of Clio, age 67, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral mass is pending. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8PM and on Tuesday from 1-8PM with a 7PM Rosary. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School.

Margaret Ann Kopcinski was born in Flint, Michigan on June 14, 1942 to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Kontnik) Kopcinski. She married Stan Lupina on July 2, 1960 in Flint, Michigan. They have resided in Clio for 49 years. Margaret belonged to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris and served as an organist. She was a former member of All Saints Catholic Church where she also served as an organist. Margaret was a member of Dom Polski and the Altar Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, scrabble, word searches and spending time in Port Huron to view the light houses and watch the ships. Margaret will always be remembered as a very loving and giving person. She was a very light spirited person and was always very active and involved in her family members lives. She will be deeply missed.

Margaret is survived by: husband, Stan; children, Mary Lupina (Steven Jacksa) of Clio, Thomas (Cynthia) Lupina of Clio, John Lupina of Holt, Anne Hatch of Genesee, Catherine Lupina (Cedric Walsh) of Clio, Andrew Lupina (Amanda Gillman) of McComb; grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Sarah, Chelsea, Samuel, Adam, Alan; sisters, Dorothy (Alan) Crout of Virgina, Rita (Michael) Palmer of Caro; Aunt, Marian Henzarek of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
