Corbett Ray Cantrell, 84, of Au Gres, Mich., passed away March 11, 2013 with his loving family beside him at home.
Mr. Cantrell was born March 21, 1928, the son of George and Elizabeth Cantrell. He married Margaret Hedrick on May 3, 2001.
Mr. Cantrell was employed as a draftsman for General Motors prior to retiring. In his spare time, Mr. Cantrell loved to fish, bowl and golf. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very nurturing and caring towards his family.
Mr. Cantrell is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Patricia LaFrance; son, Robert Kittle; step-children, John (Crystal) Kittle, Sandra (James) Harvey, Linda (Brian) Greenwell, and Jean (William) Keskeny; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Cantrell, Gerald (Joannne) Cantrell and George Cantrell; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Fuller and son, Charles Franklin.
Visitation for Mr. Cantrell will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013 at C.L. Forshee & Sons Funeral Homes, Inc., Au Gres Chapel and from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Saturday, March 16. Service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Father James Falsey officiating. Cremation will follow.
