Passed away to her eternal home, March 9, 2013, with her family by her side.  She was born in Brookfield Township to David Conrad and Johanna Ann (Lang) Schaefer on June 8, 1931.  Rosella has lived most of her adult life in Bay City in the home where she lived for 60 years.  She was employed with Bay Regional MedicalCenter for 25 years as a bookkeeper.  Rosella was a member of St. James Church.  She loved gardening and her two cats; Meca and Leah. 

Surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews: Beth (Mark) Witucki children: Melissa Witucki,  Olivia, Justin (Meagan Salogar) Witucki, Maximilian (Jessica Hayward) Witucki of Bay City, Catherine Napieralski of Belleville, James Napieralski of Arizona, Marcia Zigmund of Minnesota, children: Ryan (Alexis) Birch, Arwyn Birch, Anna Zigmund, and Madeline Zigmund, all of Minnesota, Allan (Rose) Napieralski of Bay City.  Besides her parents Rosella was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Schaefer-Napieralski; her brother, Harold Schaefer; maternal grandparents: Maximilian and Roselia Lang; a special aunt and uncle, Henry and Mary Hoch. 

According to Rosella’s wishes a private burial has taken place.
