Eric Neal Mohowitsch, 47, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly late Tuesday night, April 30, 2013. Eric was born August 8, 1965, to Neal Mohowitsch and Ruth Feagles. He was survived by his three sisters, Lynn (Webster), Rhonda (Cerone), and Stacie (Zotkovich)- Mohowitsch. Eric was also a wonderful husband to his wife Brenda (Mohowitsch) McLean. He was also a loving and compassionate father of his two sons Adam (18) and Ryan (15) Mohowitsch, as well as his two stepchildren, Lance (26) and Leah (22) Kebler who he loved and cared for as his own. Eric deeply enjoyed spending time with his step grandson Mathias Finney (8 months). There was never anything that stood in Eric’s way of helping out his family or lending an extra hand to his friends.
Eric graduated from Dow High School, and continued his education at Delta College and Ferris State University, as well as becoming a Journeyman Pipefitter. Eric was an employee of Dow Corning Corporation in Midland, Michigan, where he made many friends who he enjoyed working with. He contributed as a Sales Representative as well for Thunder Roads Magazine of Michigan and even did snow plowing on the side.
Eric was a fun-spirited and positive, loving person. He was unforgettable when he walked into a room and easily stood out in a crowd. He was always known to be smiling, laughing, and making jokes. He enjoyed being around people who he loved and who he shared his passion for motorcycles with. Eric loved riding his Boss Hoss motorcycle. It was not uncommon to see Eric do an occasional little burnout, a quick thrust on the throttle -all with a big grin. Eric loved to travel. He enjoyed being in the sun, walking on the beach, listening to music, and just being anywhere with good company.
Eric was truly one of the greatest people you could have ever met. He will be missed by anyone that has ever met him.
