Frank, Mrs. Kathleen M.,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 79 years. Daughter of the late Phillip and Minnie (McCartney) Free, Kathleen was born August 24, 1930 in Newport, Arkansas. She was married to Richard Martin Frank, her loving husband of 61 years, on January 3, 1949. He survives her. Kathleen had been employed by Giant Supermarket for 25 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving besides her husband Richard are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Deborah Carson, Frankenmuth; Richard M. and Barbara Frank, Caro; Denise and James Hall, Merrill; Dawn and Eric Wells, Reese; a daughter-in-law, Rosanne Frank, Canton; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one angel on the way; and a great-great angel on the way; her sister, Patricia Chancelor, Texas; her brother, Kenneth and Loretta Free, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Frank, her son Darryl Frank and a grandson, Derek Hall.
Honoring Mrs. Frank’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Jose Parra will officiate. Private burial of cremains will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
