Linda I. Harris of Flushing, age 84, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Brian’s House, Davison. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Flushing United Methodist Church, 413 E. Main St., Flushing. Rev. Jeanne Wisenbaugh will officiate. Burial will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 11 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice at Brian’s House, 1515 Cal Drive, Davison, MI 48423.
Linda was born May 23, 1925 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Zoe (Webster) Poore. She married David L. Harris in Flint on December 12, 1964. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1998.
Linda was an Interior Designer for 40 years and she last worked at Decor’s Studio in Flushing. Her greatest interests were her family, children, and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by: children, Richard Clark (Lee) Rogler, Teresa Lynn Bila, Jamie Irene (Richard) Crelly; grandchildren, Griffin Rogler, Spencer Bila, Samantha Bila, Lindsay (Jonathan) Snyder, Leslie Jackson; great-grandson, Brenden Lee; step-grandsons, Mark (Julie) Crelly, Todd (Angelique) Crelly; step-great-grandchildren, Ethan, Grace, Kaitlyn, Alivia; sisters, Nancy Popovecz, Beverly Benson, Joanne Vincent, Bernice Smiley; sister-in-law, Marie Poore; brothers-in-law, Duane (Ilene) Harris, Joe (Sue) Harris; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zoe Poore; 3 brothers, Mark, Richard, and Bud Poore; brothers-in-law, Andy Popovecz, Pete Vincent.
