Meddaugh, Dolores, R., age 82 of Bay City passed away Saturday

evening, March 6, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. She was the

daughter of the late Orville J. and Hattie M. (Doan) Meddaugh.

 

Dolores was born August 14, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated

from Pinconning High School in 1946 and then Henry Ford Hospital

School of Nursing. In 1975, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree

from the University of Redland, California.

 

Dolores’ life revolved around her beloved cats, Toto, Dillon and Minnie.

She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, playing pinochle with her

family and Bingo and cards with friends.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers and their wives: Floyd E.

and Jean Meddaugh of Midland and James and Jeanne Meddaugh of

Saginaw. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces

and great nephews who will miss her dearly.

 

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother,

Donald Meddaugh and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Meddaugh and Alice

Meddaugh.

 

The family wishes to thank all of Dolores’ friends at Country Meadows

for their help and support; also, Comfort Keepers and their employees,

especially Cindy for their thoughtful and compassionate care.

 

Funeral and Committal Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday,

March 10, 2010 at Auburn United Methodist Church. Pastor Duane Harris

will officiate with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bay City.

 

Friends may call at Cunningham Taylor Funeral Home, Auburn, from

2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday or from 10:00 a.m. until the time

of service on Wednesday.

 

Those wishing to give memorials, please consider the Michigan Chapter

of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Auburn United Methodist Church or the

donor’s favorite charity.
