Cwiklinski, Bernice A. Charboneau– of Birch Run, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John Sarge officiating. Burial in Birch Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Wednesday from 3-9 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Bernice will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until time of mass.

Bernice was born October 23, 1921 in Kawkawlin, Michigan to the late Mose and Melvina (LaPan) Salois. She was the youngest of ten children. Bernice married Charles Charboneau on June 22, 1940. He preceded her in death. She married William Cwiklinski on August 26, 1995. They had eight children: Dan( Lillian)  Charboneau, Charlene (Tom) Kelly,  Ken (Donna)  Charboneau, Joyce (Roger) Belill, June (Jim) Raquepaw, Ben Charboneau (Vicki Raguso), Nancy (Patrick) Henige, Tom (Sally) Charboneau. Ben Charboneau preceded his mother on November 22, 2004. Bernice also leaves 30 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
