Passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at home. Age 85 years. Art was born January 12, 1925 in Erving, Kentucky to Jeff and Drusie (Puckett) Conway. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. Art married Phyllis Reid on May 11, 1946 in Saginaw. He owned and operated Conway Collision in St. Charles for many years. Art enjoyed bowling, gardening and reading.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis and their daughters, Linda Kube, Polly Conway and Jean Schneider; five grandchildren, Deanne Jekel, Joshua Schneider, Brittany Schneider, Joseph Conway, Aaron Holmes; two great grandchildren, Clara Jekel and Jakob Jekel; two sisters-in-law, Betty Conway and Dorothy Miller and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by seven brothers and a grandson, Bradley Kube.

The family will receive visitors at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment of his ashes in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Covenant Visiting Nurses Association.
