       Passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 9, 2010, at Covenant Health Care, Saginaw.  Age 66 years.

       She was born, January 4, 1944, in Bridgeport, Michigan to Lulu (Near) and the late Warnie McVannel. She is survived by her mother, Lu McVannel, Hemlock, MI; two daughters and one son, Vivian Green, California; Pamela (David) Johnson, Florida; Burton (Deborah) M. Green III., Virginia; six grandchildren, Dustin Downs, Christopher and Jared Green, Arthur and Elliot Moeckel, Gabriel Johnson; one sister, two brothers, Lillian (Ralph) Klawitter, Missoula, Montana; Donald (Connie) McVannel, Hemlock, MI; Gerald (Beverly) McVannel, Perrinton, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and two brothers, Peter and Kenneth McVannel.

      The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Richard Gossett and her nephew, Rev. Jeff McVannel will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
