Survived By: Two sons and one daughter; Dennis Smeage and his wife Bette Butler, and their children Delaney and Kyriel, Larry Smeage and his wife Tamara and their children Jennifer and Kristopher, and Sharlene Smeage and her husband Lee Wright, and their children Jeff Norris and Jason (Tamiko) Wright, two great grandchildren; Angel and Apollo Wright, and many other loving family members and friends.

Passed away Monday, July 21, 2014.  Age 97 years.  Antoinette Margaret Simcik was born May 26, 1917 to Anthony and Frances (Ligas) Simcik. She married Alfred F. Smeage on June 20, 1936.  He predeceased her on November 11, 2002.  Mrs. Smeage loved baking and specialized in Czechoslovakian dishes. She was very creative and penned many poems, and was also a talented seamstress.  She was a lifetime member of ZCBJ - Lodge Nova Cechie of Flint and enjoyed her Czech heritage through participation in the Friendship Club Czech Singers of Swartz Creek.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter; Dennis Smeage and his wife Bette Butler, and their children Delaney and Kyriel, Larry Smeage and his wife Tamara and their children Jennifer and Kristopher, and Sharlene Smeage and her husband Lee Wright, and their children Jeff Norris and Jason (Tamiko) Wright, two great grandchildren; Angel and Apollo Wright, and many other loving family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Nadine Smeage.
Rev. Richard Mundt will officiate the funeral service at 1:30PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Road (S. M- 47).  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings are suggested to The National Czech & Slovak Museum and Library, 1400 Inspiration Place S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52404 (NCSML.ORG), or the Western Fraternal Life Association Education and Charitable Foundation, 1900 1st Ave. N.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402 (WFLAINS.ORG).
