Survived By: Surviving are one daughter, Gail Wicks; his granddaughters, Molly (Aaron) Smith and Hannah (Brian) Donnenwerth; great-grandchildren, Brady, Brenna and Declan Smith; two Donnenwerth great-grandchildren expected in September 2015; two sisters, Rose Brady and Alvina Sheets; a brother, Charles (Alice) Schulz; sister-in-law, Evelyn Schulz; many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert D. Schulz, a son-in-law, Douglas Wicks; his brothers, Paul and Elmer and by a brother-in-law, William Brady.
Affiliations: The son of the late Paul and Rose (Reitberger) Schulz, Robert was born on June 5, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Barbara Terrian, his loving wife of 64 years, on August 5, 1950. She predeceased him on October 6, 2014. Bob was a member of Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Grayling and a past member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw. He was very involved in the church with Sunday School and Evangelism. He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. Bob worked for many years as a Fieldstone Mason and he was very talented at his craft. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran and was an avid storyteller about his time in the service.

 Beloved father and grandfather went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 20, 2015.  Age 89 years.  The son of the late Paul and Rose (Reitberger) Schulz, Robert was born on June 5, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Barbara Terrian, his loving wife of 64 years, on August 5, 1950.  She predeceased him on October 6, 2014.  Bob was a member of Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Grayling and a past member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw.  He was very involved in the church with Sunday School and Evangelism.  He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing.  Bob worked for many years as a Fieldstone Mason and he was very talented at his craft.  He was a proud United States Navy Veteran and was an avid storyteller about his time in the service.

 Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty).  Pastor William C. Winter will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy and American Legion Post #439.  Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
