Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Marilyn are two sons and three daughters, Kathleen and Walter Ryan, Saginaw; Patricia Mattheis and good friend Larry Nachtweih, Saginaw; Paul and Mary Beth Madejek, Saginaw; Mark Madejek, Saginaw; Michelle and David Scoggins, Saginaw; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lottie Mikrut, Chicago; several nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Steve.

 Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Centre. Age 91 years. The son of the late Walter and Josephine (Wojtiecz) Madejek, Ed was born December 23, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II and was a member of V.F.W. Post #1859. Ed married Marilyn Bunzow on April 19, 1947. She survives him. He was employed at Baker Perkins for 40 years until his retirement in 1987. Ed was a member of St. John Paul II Parish.

Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Steve.

 The family would like to thank the staff of Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Centre for their compassionate care to Edward during his stay there.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at St. John Paul II Parish-St. Josaphat Site, 469 Shattuck Road in Carrollton. Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery where Military Honors will be presented by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Josaphat Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John Paul II Parish or a charity of your choice.
