EDMONDS, Harvey A. – of Clio, age 89, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, October 17, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Deacon Ray Ellingson officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors under the direction of the Clio American Legion Post #158 and VFW Gordon R. Bennett Post #1452. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until 4PM and Monday from 12PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or McLaren Hospice and Home Care Foundation.

Harvey was born August 11, 1927 in Bentley, Michigan to the late Charles and Blanche (Banning) Edmonds. He married Helen Marie Kidd on December 12, 1950. She preceded him in death August of 1969. Harvey later married Mary Elizabeth Wiggers on March 7, 1971. Mr. Edmonds is a U.S. Navy and Army Veteran. He retired from Buick in 1987 with 37 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599. Harvey enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling.

Surviving are:  Wife, Mary Edmonds of Clio; Children: Shirley Brautigan of Reese, Lorraine Edmonds of Saginaw, Duane Edmonds of Birch Run, Charlene Wiggers of Phoenix, Curt (Sally) Wiggers of Otisville, and Constance Montgomery of Scottsdale, Arizona; Furry companion, Tigger the cat; 2 grandchildren: Shawn (Robert) Trumble, and Shannon (Josh) Powenski; 3 great grandchildren: Robert, Ethan and Rhiannon; Siblings: William (Ella) Edmonds, Elaine Kile, Thomas Edmonds, and Thelma (Albert) Snider; Harvey was also preceded in death by his Daughters: Darlene Edmonds and Helen Marie Edmonds.
