Survived By: Kelly is survived by her mother Carole Gromaski of Clare and her four sisters Tammy (Courtney) Hamming of Farwell, Jody (Bob) Bovenschen of Brown City, Michigan, Amy (Jeff) Jurewicz of St. Peter, Minnesota, and Julie Gromaski of Harrison. Also surviving Kelly are her seven nieces and nephews, and her four great-nieces and nephews.

Kelly Ann Gromaski, age 52 of Clare, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the MicMichigan Medical Center in Clare.  Kelly was born the daughter of Bernard “Ben” and Carole (Compeau) Gromaski on May 21, 1964 in Bay City, MI.  After moving to Clare from Pinconning, MI. in 1977, Kelly enjoyed attending classes at the Clare Gladwin Day School.  She later went on to work for Mid Michigan Industries as a housekeeper and kitchen help and even competed in the Special Olympics, which she enjoyed greatly.  She was always happy and had a contagious smile.  Kelly loved to laugh, pick on the “guys”, and most of all, to dance. 

Kelly is survived by her mother Carole Gromaski of Clare and her four sisters Tammy (Courtney) Hamming of Farwell, Jody (Bob) Bovenschen of Brown City, Michigan, Amy (Jeff) Jurewicz of St. Peter, Minnesota, and Julie Gromaski of Harrison.  Also surviving Kelly are her seven nieces and nephews, and her four great-nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her father “Ben” Gromaski, who passed away in 2002. 

A memorial mass in honor of Kelly will take place on Friday, November 18th at the Our Lady of Hope Parish’s St. Cecilia Church in Clare at 11:00 A.M.  Friends may visit with her family on Thursday the 17th at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Pinconning, MI.  Memorial contributions in Kelly’s honor may be made to the St. Cecilia Church, and on-line guestbook may be visited at www.stephenson-wyman.com
