Survived By: Bill is survived by his siblings Duane (Glady) Wetherell of Michigan and Florida, Dale (Carol) Wetherell of Midland, Bruce Wetherell of Stratton Nebraska, Karen (Floyd) Watts of Midland, and Dave (Cathy) Wetherell of North Port, Florida. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as two very special friends Kim Young and Carroll Bergeron. In addition to his parents and wife Bill was preceeded in death by two daughters, Cindy Lou in 1997 and Candy Sue in 2008

William “Bill” Wetherell, 70, of Coleman, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his home. He was born October 11, 1946 in Midland, son of the late Merl and Leona (Fisher) Wetherell.  Bill attended both Meridian and Coleman Schools. On February 13, 1968 he married the former Grace Barkley. She preceded him in death in 2009. He worked for Giant Supermarkets for nearly 23 years. Bill was known as the class clown and loved to pull pranks. He spent many hours playing board games and was definitely in it to win. Bill was always up for a challenge and was curious where the next road would take him. He was known for his stubbornness and being set in his ways yet he had a kind and caring heart.   

 

Bill is survived by his siblings Duane (Glady) Wetherell of Michigan and Florida, Dale (Carol) Wetherell of Midland, Bruce Wetherell of Stratton Nebraska, Karen (Floyd) Watts of Midland, and Dave (Cathy) Wetherell of North Port, Florida. A memorial service for Bill will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 from Gateway Apostolic Church, 5444 N. Coleman Rd. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Bill’s Family. Arrangements for Bill have been entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
