Norma G. Anderson, of East Tawas, passed away peacefully under the loving care of her family and hospice on Monday, January 9, 2017, age 85 years.  Norma was born on March 13, 1931 in Keego Harbor, Michigan to Robie and Genevieve (Foster) Sailors.  Her family moved to the Tawas Area during her childhood and she graduated from Tawas Area High School in the class of 1949.  Norma stayed at home during her working years to raise her 7 children.  She married her best friend, Jerry Anderson, on February 14, 1973 at the Bethany Methodist Church in Clio and together they have celebrated 43 beautiful years of marriage! She was a devout Christian and a very active member of the Tawas United Methodist Church.  Norma was also a very talented woman who truly enjoyed all kinds of arts and craft creations. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Norma is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry Anderson of East Tawas; 7 loving children, Barbara Brown of Ocean City, California, Perry (Chris) Brown of AuGres, David (Rebecca) Brown of Coleman, Michigan, and Suzanne Brown of Waterford; Kenneth (Kim) Isola of Clio, Alida Isola of Granger, Indiana, and Jerry Jr. (Jaquita) Anderson of Piggott, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren; Jessica, Angie, Scott, Ashley, Kyle, and Michael; 4 great grandchildren; Pippa, Aubrey, Max and Zander;  1 brother, Roy (Vonnie) Sailors of Midlothian, Texas; 2 sisters, Rosalie Peterson of Oscoda and Jackie White of Ludington, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and so many special friends.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Tawas United Methodist Church with Reverend Dan Gonder officiating.  Her family will welcome friends at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral.  Interment will take place in the Wilber Township Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to express their condolences through a memorial contribution are encouraged to give to the Tawas United Methodist Church in her name.  An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
