GARSKE, Lois A. - of Auburn, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Cartwright Hospice. She was 80 years of age.

Lois was born January 12, 1937 in Saginaw to the late Henry and Lola (Raupp) Boyer. She was a resident of Saginaw most of her life moving to Auburn in 2014. She married Robert Garske on June 3, 1988. Mrs. Garske had been employed at ANR and Consolidated Freight and was a member of the Teamsters Local #486. She had attended AuburnUnitedMethodistChurch. Lois enjoyed shopping, traveling and going to the casino.

Surviving are: Husband, Bob; Children: James (Cheryl) Luth, David (Sandra) Luth, Charles Benson, Karen Maxwell, Robert (Kasee) Garske, Steve (Robin) Garske; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Siblings: Nancy Rogalski, Mary Zolinski, Dennis (Linda) Boyer; Sister-in-law, Maryann Trautner; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: Son, Dale Luth in 2015; Grandsons Mathew and Jason Luth; Brothers, Dale and Rudy Boyer. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Covenant Cancer unit for their love and care.

Pastor Duane Harris will officiate the memorial service for Lois at 11 AM Monday, March 20, 2017 at AuburnUnitedMethodistChurch, 207 S. Auburn St. in Auburn. Family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Cremation has taken place. Contributions in her memory may be made to the AuburnUnitedMethodistChurch.
