Survived By: three children, Misti (Richard) England of Farwell, Jodi (Dave) May of Chesterfield and Brady (Sarah) Wilson of Bay City; daughter-in-law, Sherry Wilson of Bad Axe; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her mother, Ila (Bill) Cook of Marlette; her brother, Doug (Deb) Keyworth of Elkton; step brothers, Jim (Janet) Cook of Marlette, Paul (Jennifer) Cook of Novi and John (Brenda) Cook of Hartland; stepsister, Penny (Steve) Cornwell of Winchester, VA and many nieces and nephews.

     Janet K Wilson age 70 of Farwell formerly of Elkton and Bad Axe, died Saturday morning, April 8, at her home while under hospice care.

     She was born May 4, 1946, in Sandusky to Ila (Weston) Keyworth and the late Gordon Keyworth and moved to Elkton in her youth. Janet was a 1964 graduate of Laker High School.

    On September 4, 1964, she was united in marriage to Robert Wilson in Gagetown. Bob preceded her in death October 5, 1992.

     While raising a family, Janet also worked at Active Industries, Sebewaing until 1981, when they moved to Broken Arrow, OK. Janet returned to Huron County in 1993, settling in Bad Axe. She took a CNA position at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in 95, retiring in 2011.

     Janet’s hobby was her family. With 17 grand and 15 great grandchildren, she had little time for anything else.

     Surviving are three children, Misti (Richard) England of Farwell, Jodi (Dave) May of Chesterfield and Brady (Sarah) Wilson of Bay City; daughter-in-law, Sherry Wilson of Bad Axe; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her mother, Ila (Bill) Cook of Marlette; her brother, Doug (Deb) Keyworth of Elkton; step brothers, Jim (Janet) Cook of Marlette, Paul (Jennifer) Cook of Novi and John (Brenda) Cook of Hartland; stepsister, Penny (Steve) Cornwell of Winchester, VA and many nieces and nephews.

    Preceding her in death were two sons, Robert and Therin Wilson and a granddaughter, Brittney.

     Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 15, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton.
