Survived By: Surviving besides his wife MaryAnn are one daughter, Barb and Ray Kostick; two grandchildren, Marissa and Cody Kostick; two brothers and one sister, Mike (Kathy) DeFour, Paul (Shelly) DeFour and Loretta (Ted) Rickert; a sister-in-law, Bobbi Mroz; five nieces and two nephews. Dale and MaryAnn were host parents to many exchange students including, Marie Danielsson, Bruno Voloch, Andrea Ribeiro, Vivi Arguello-Segura and Thais Rizzo Da Costa. Dale was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Greg Mroz.

 Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home.  Age 70 years.  The son of the late Elmer and Veronica (Krause) DeFour, Dale was born on January 8, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He married MaryAnn Mroz on November 10, 1967.  She survives him. Dale was employed for AT&T for 30 years, IBM for five years. He was currently employed at Home Depot. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting and working around the house. He was a true “jack of all trades.”  Dale and MaryAnn were former members of the Valkyrie Riders Motorcycle Club. His greatest joy in life however was spending time with this grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife MaryAnn are one daughter, Barb and Ray Kostick; two grandchildren, Marissa and Cody Kostick; two brothers and one sister, Mike (Kathy) DeFour, Paul (Shelly) DeFour and Loretta (Ted) Rickert; a sister-in-law, Bobbi Mroz; five nieces and two nephews. Dale and MaryAnn were host parents to many exchange students including, Marie Danielsson, Bruno Voloch, Andrea Ribeiro, Vivi Arguello-Segura and Thais Rizzo Da Costa.  Dale was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Greg Mroz.

 Visitation will take place on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty).  Honoring Dale’s wishes, cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to American Diabetes Association.
