WILLIAMSON, Josephine I. (Ashcraft), age 86 years, passed away July 19, 2010 at Brookdale Senior Living-Clare Bridge.  She was born in Coshocton County, Ohio on September 1, 1923 to the late French and Margery (McKee) Ashcraft.  Josephine was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bay City and retired as a manager from the J.C. Penney Co. store in Bay City.  She married Russell Williamson on May 25, 1943 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1979.  She is survived by 3 children:  Ronald (Marsha) Williamson, Yvonne (Philip) Brenner and Iona Jones, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Ashcraft and a son-in-law, James Jones. She was preceded in death by a brother, Burdette Ashcraft and a sister, Freda Myers.  Funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Bay City.  The Rev. Anthony N. Cutting will officiate with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  The family will be present to receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.  Memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church, the Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or SouthernCare Hospice.  The family wishes to send a special thanks to the staffs of Brookdale Senior Living-Clare Bridge and SouthernCare Hospice for the special care that they gave to Josephine.
