Survived By: Surviving are two daughters: Cheryl Ackerman and Lisa (Rich) Sproessig; their mother, Shirley Robinson; grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Ackerman, Ryan, Gabe, and Drew Sproessig; sister, Darlene Coppinger; brother, Ronald Kintner; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Kintner, Molly Swartz, Debbie Tarrow, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kintner passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 peacefully with family by his side at McLaren Bay Region, age 75 years.  He was born October 27, 1941 in Bay City to the late Joseph and Louella (Garrow) Kintner.  He married the late Cherryl J. Dingler on September 15, 1989 and she predeceased him November 29, 2016.  Michael served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1963 and later retired from General Motors Delphi.  Michael was a hardworking man who enjoyed the casino and frequent trips to Las Vegas.  Surviving are two daughters: Cheryl Ackerman and Lisa (Rich) Sproessig; their mother, Shirley Robinson; grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Ackerman, Ryan, Gabe, and Drew Sproessig; sister, Darlene Coppinger; brother, Ronald Kintner; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Kintner, Molly Swartz, Debbie Tarrow, and many nieces and nephews.  Michael was also predeceased by his brother Leroy Kintner.

A Funeral Service for Michael will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. from Ambrose Funeral Home.  Pastor Joe Atchinson will preside with a private interment in Marion Township Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may call at Ambrose Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the wishes of the family.
