Survived By: Nicholas is survived by his brother, Charlie (Megan) Pike; two sisters, Teressa (Jason) Gatza, Jessica (Eric) Kubiak; two nieces, Aubrey & Norah; three nephews, Brady, Carter and Deacon. Also surviving are some very special aunts and uncles; George and Lynne Zanotti who he has resided with since his parents died, Chris and Tom Herek; Judy and Steve Cox; Mitzi and Chris Brown and many other aunts and uncles who have helped out along the way.

Nicholas Alexander Pike, age 28, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 16, 2017 at his home after a lifelong illness.  He was born March 29, 1989 in Bay City to the late Charlie and Lucille (Zanotti) Pike.  Nicholas is survived by his brother, Charlie (Megan) Pike; two sisters, Teressa (Jason) Gatza, Jessica (Eric) Kubiak; two nieces, Aubrey & Norah; three nephews, Brady, Carter and Deacon.  Also surviving are some very special aunts and uncles; George and Lynne Zanotti who he has resided with since his parents died, Chris and Tom Herek; Judy and Steve Cox; Mitzi and Chris Brown and many other aunts and uncles who have helped out along the way.  Nicholas was predeceased by his twin brothers, Jacob and Jordan.  The family would especially like to thank the caregivers that have been with Nicholas for a great part of his life, Catherine, Denise, Vicky, Chris, Dianne, Luther, Jayne, Kim, Lynn and Karensa. They would also like to thank Dr. Howard Hurt, Dr. Russell Strubel and their entire staff for the wonderful care given to Nicholas over the years.  Also a special thanks to Anderson Pharmacy for all of their help.  Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Squires Funeral Home.  Fr. James G. Heller will officiate with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.   Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are ask to consider family wishes. Lu and Charlie’s wishes were for Nicholas to spend his life at home surrounded by his family and those who cared for him.  Because of that wonderful service and devotion, Lu and Charlie’s wishes came true.
