Survived By: Surviving are her loving and devoted daughters, Susan (Chet) Mrozinski, Sandra Berkobien, Sharon Hunt and Shana Taylor with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Carla Yambert; many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was residing with her daughter Sandra in Saginaw, Michigan. She was surrounded by love and devotion from her daughter and two care-givers, Tim Sieggreen and Nick Berkobien. Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Scott Allen Webster at the age of 6 from Leukemia in 1965 and her sister, Ethel Smith. Carolyn loved watching WWII shows, Hitler, Ghosts and of course old movies. None of this new stuff was to her liking! She was a lover of all dogs and told us often that she hoped she remembered all their names when she got to her Great Reward.

She proudly served in the U.S. Navy as Chief Storekeeper for 2 years during WWII. Carolyn was employed by the V.A. Medical Center as Supervisor in Admitting for 21 years retiring in February of 1984. She was married to Harold Amos Webster in September of 1956. He predeceased her in 2009.

 Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (GiGi) passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 11, 2017 sounded by her family. Age 93 years. Daughter of the late Carl Anton and Esther (Friend Coman) Wikstrom, Carolyn was born December 20, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She proudly served in the U.S. Navy as Chief Storekeeper for 2 ½ years during WWII. Carolyn was employed by the V.A. Medical Center as Supervisor in Admitting for 21 years retiring in February of 1984. She was married to Harold Amos Webster in September of 1956. He predeceased her in 2009.

Honoring Carolyn’s wishes cremation has taken place. A family celebration of life will take place next Mother’s Day at the Grand Hotel per her wishes.
